“Minotaur and the Yellow Bird” Created for the group show Contemporary Narratives at Stone Sparrow NYC. The work features an acrylic painting done in a faux fresco style with a raised center area (the area the image is painted on) surrounded by a stone texture. Cracks in the painted image are a combination of real and painted. The area below the painting is a frame embellishment sculpted in epoxy clay and featuring a central area with a preserved (sculpted) tooth.
